Volunteer

Gainesville Rabbit Rescue is run solely by dedicated volunteers and fosterers. You can assist the rescue on the following ways:

Socializing and grooming the rabbits
Cleaning cages, feeding and watering rabbits
Building or repairing enclosures
Foster a rabbit
Transport rabbits to and from vet appointments or adoption events
Newsletters, literature campaigns
Record keeping (e.g., taking pictures, updating profiles, etc.)
Grocery store runs
Attend adoption events

Our main foster home, the Bunny Barn, is located about 20 miles from UF in Williston. In order to volunteer for 'TLC + Housekeeping', you need to be able to drive to the Bunny Barn, or have dependable, regular transportation. Please keep this in mind before committing to volunteer.
