Gainesville Rabbit Rescue is not a shelter. It relies solely on a collection of loving families who mend broken hearts and provide safe environments for bunnies before placing them in a permanent home.
Fostering Requirements:
GRR fosters must provide:
- All foster rabbits must have activity time daily, 3 to 4 hours a day/25 to 30 hours per week.
- All rabbits must be spayed/neutered as soon as possible after rescuing.
- Rabbits must be brought to GRR monthly adoption events.
- All fosterers are expected to provide basic educational support to anyone who has adopted a rabbit from them.
