Bun of the Month

 

Bunny of the Month is Desperado. He is a Florida White born around June of 2017. Desperado was left on the doorstep of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. He is a sweet and loving rabbit who would do well with a patient family. Desperado is part of our current special, if you adopt one of our Ruby Eyed Whites (REW), like him, you get a free exercise pen.

 

Bunny of the month is Leigh. She is an American mix about 4 1/2 years old. Leigh is a sweet and friendly girl who was rescued from a bad situation in Georgia and came into rescue pregnant. Leigh is part of our current adoption special where if you adopt a long term resident or bonded pair, you get a FREE exercise pen.

 

Bunny of the month is Anthony. He is an American mix about 3 years old. He was found loose about 2 years ago and came into rescue with a damaged ear (probably by a predator) and a severe ear infection. He had BOLO surgery and suffered some nerve damage. He came to his current foster mom around October of 2016. She worked with him several times a week doing bunny massage and in a year to year and a half his head has come up almost straight. He has flourished so much and is is now able to binky, run the bunny 500, and do a dead bunny flop. His litter box habits have improved alot. He loves to roam around exploring and has not chewed any cords or anything else that he should not chew. He would do best in a home with no small children and with someone who understands and will attend to his special needs. He will need continued massages and have his teeth trimmed every 6 months. Anthony is part of our current adoption special where if you adopt a long term resident or bonded pair, you get a FREE exercise pen.

   

Bunny of the Month is Dale. He is an American mix almost 3 1/2 years old. Dale was one of our Georgia Marsh bunnies. He is a sweet, loving, and all around nice rabbit. He can be a little shy until he gets to know you. He is fine even with very small children. Dale is part of our current adoption special that if you adopt one of our long term residents or bonded pairs you get a free exercise pen.

Bunny of the month is Tonka. He is a New Zealand born January 11, 2016. Tonka was found in Alachua and was taken to Hilltop Animal Hospital where we got him from. He is a little hand shy, but with some one on one attention, he will blossom. He is an excellent litter box user.

Bunny of the Day is Maximillian. He is a Rex mix about 2 and a half years old. He can be very hand shy so he needs an experienced rabbit family with no children. He likes attention, but on his terms.

Famous and Amos are wonderful, friendly, sweet and just nice all around great bunnies. As of May of 2017, they are fairly young and still learning what the world around them is like. They would do great in any home and they only issue you will ever have with these two brothers is who do I pet and love on first. Please consider these two REW’s and help make their rescue complete by giving them a home.

Harry’s mom and dad were rescued by a very nice family in Orange Park and within three days Molly (the mom) gave birth to ten babies. Of the ten only eight survived and Harry was one of them. Harry is very sweet, affectionate and a very nice rabbit. He is a little shy when he first meets you, but he warms up after a little bit. Harry would do great in almost any home, he is good with his litter box and would love to find his new home soon.
